Short version
Use the service fairly. Your files stay yours. The service is provided as-is with no guarantees. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to zero because the service is free and runs on your device.

By using FileConverterTools, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
FileConverterTools is a free in-browser file conversion tool. All conversion is performed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or process your files on any server.
Your files, your rights
You retain all rights to the files you convert. We make no claim of ownership, licence, or interest in any content you process through the service.
Fair use
Don't use the service to convert, produce, or distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to CSAM, copyright-infringing material you don't have the right to distribute, or malware. Don't attempt to overwhelm the service with automated traffic.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that every file will convert without data loss or formatting change. For critical documents, verify the output before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileConverterTools and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Since the service is free and your files are processed on your own device, our aggregate liability is zero.
Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features at any time. If a converter is deprecated or removed, we'll give notice via the homepage before taking it down.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
